“Designed for the NZ curriculum,
from the ground up.”
Every piece of content in Abbi is written and reviewed by qualified educators before it reaches a child. Not scraped from the internet, not generated on the fly — built deliberately for New Zealand learners at each stage.
For parents
Visible progress.
Real confidence.
-
Progress you can see
After every session, you get a plain-language summary of what your child worked on and how they went. No jargon. No dashboards to decode. Just a clear picture of where they are.
-
Content you can trust
Every question and explanation is reviewed by qualified teachers before it reaches a child. Abbi's content is carefully governed — not generated on the fly and left unchecked.
-
Curriculum you recognise
Abbi is aligned to the New Zealand national curriculum at every stage. What your child learns here supports and reinforces what they're already doing in the classroom.
-
My daughter was really struggling with fractions. After a few weeks with Abbi, she came home genuinely proud of herself. That hasn't happened in a long time.
-
The session summary I get is genuinely useful — I know exactly where my son is at without having to quiz him or check in on the app every five minutes.
-
It doesn't feel like homework. The kids actually want to sit down with it, which tells you everything. Being NZ curriculum is what made me choose it over everything else.
For parents
Stay close,
without hovering.
Your parent view gives you a clear window into your child's learning — without interrupting it. You'll know what happened, what improved, where the difficulty was, and what comes next.
- A session summary after every lesson Plain language. What they practised, how they went, where they got stuck, and what to encourage next.
- Skill progress — honestly shown See what's been mastered, what's in progress, and what's coming up next. No vanity metrics, just real movement.
- Multiple children, one account Manage the whole family's learning from one parent dashboard — with a separate view for each child.
- Tell Abbi what matters to you Share your child's learning preferences in your own words. Abbi reads it and adapts. No forms to fill, no settings to configure.
Good evening, Sarah
Week of 7–13 April · 2 children · 7 sessions
- 7Lessons completed
- 4Skills strengthened
- 2Independent wins
Lily practised addition with regrouping across 7 short sessions. Early in the week, carrying across the tens column was slowing her down. By the end of the week, she was solving the same pattern independently and finishing faster.
Lily responds well to a short word of encouragement before harder questions. She's more likely to keep going when the first step is shown visually, then removed.
Lily sometimes writes the ones digit before carrying the ten. Abbi is keeping one extra visual cue in place before asking her to solve independently.
Subtraction with regrouping. Same logic, new direction. Abbi will start close to the pattern Lily has just strengthened.
Nothing urgent this week. If it comes up naturally, ask Lily to explain how she carries the ten in her own words. No extra worksheet needed.
Real milestones
Not a badge. Not a streak.
A certificate that means something.
When your child completes a full year level — every concept covered, captured as actual evidence — Abbi sends a real, named, dated certificate. The kind a family prints and keeps.
Some children get there in six months. Some take eighteen. The certificate marks the level reached, not the time spent.
